What position are you applying for?
Medical Intern
Why do you think you are suited for the position you are applying for?
I believe my strong experience in the Reveille Department of Health will be quite beneficial as a Medical Intern. I have been a part of the Department for around 11 months, during which time I have participated in numerous patient attends. My efforts awarded me the honor of becoming the June 2024 Doctor of the Month, a title awarded to the doctor who assists the most patients each month. As such, I am quite familiar with the process of caring for patients, from being polite and professional, to dealing with any issues that could occur.
To round out my expertise, I have been a member of the Department of Health's Medical Board since a few weeks after the initial health plugin became non-functional in early July. When the department reopened in October, I tried my best to serve the community of Reveille despite a smaller department and some issues with the diseases plugin. Once all of the technical aspects were in order, I worked hard to do my part as a Medical Specialist to grow the team, training new doctors and even completing evaluations.
My experience as Medical Specialist has helped me to deepen my knowledge of the in-game medical field; it allowed me to gain insight into the most common difficult occurrences and the most advisable solutions, a well-rounded review of hospital policies from study related to answering questions and preparing doctor evaluations, and overall understanding of how to communicate with others whenever they or I require assistance.
In conclusion, I believe my extensive history in the in-game medical field would be of great help in my duties as a Medical Intern, and if accepted, I look forward to working in the department, drawing from my experiences in Reveille to bring a fantastic wellness experience to the community of Alexandria.
What are your general strengths and weaknesses?
My strengths are probably my politeness, positivity, and willingness to help others.
I feel like my weakness may be that in an effort to ensure everything is dealt with by the book, I sometimes tend to ask a few too many questions. Although this is definitely helpful at times, as I can gain valuable insight to situations where many elements are being considered, I hope to improve my flexibility and ability to analyze situations on my own, and be more decisive with my actions.
