The Ministry of Welfare (MOW) is responsible for providing educational and healthcare services to the people of Alexandria. The Ministry operates various institutions in Alexandrian society, including the University of New Hamilton, Hamilton Memorial Hospital, New Hamilton Central Library, the Office of Hospitality, and the National Museum of Alexandria.
University of New Hamilton
The University of New Hamilton (UNH) is the sole educational institution of the Kingdom of Alexandria. It is overseen by a Chancellor, who is appointed by the Minister of Welfare. The Chancellor may also select a Vice Chancellor to assist in the administration of the University.
The University is divided into three Colleges: the College of Law & Politics, the College of Economics, and the College of Craftsmanship. Each College is overseen by a Dean, who is responsible for the management of their College's faculty and curricula. Each College is staffed by various certified educational professionals, including Teaching Assistants, Professors, and Senior Professors.
Hamilton Memorial Hospital
Hamilton Memorial Hospital (HMH) is the principal healthcare institution in the Kingdom of Alexandria. The Hospital is staffed by various healthcare professionals, ranging from Medical Interns to Board Physicians. Hamilton Memorial Hospital and its staff are capable of both immediately assisting players with any healthcare needs, as well as engaging in detailed health roleplay.
New Hamilton Central Library
The New Hamilton Central Library (NHCL) is the institution responsible for the preservation and promulgation of historical and technical information in the Kingdom of Alexandria. The Library is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the StateCraft wiki, as well as collecting player-made books. The Library is staffed by Archive Interns and Archivists, and overseen by a Library Manager.
Office of Social Assistance
The Office of Social Assistance is an office of the Ministry of Welfare that is responsible for assisting new citizens in their acclimation and assimilation to Alexandrian society. The Office offers tours by Tour Guides and Trainee Guides, as well as long-term assistance on a case-by-case basis by Social Workers.
National Museum of Alexandria
The National Museum of Alexandria (NMA) is the national historical institution of the Kingdom of Alexandria. The NMA is responsible for the preservation and education of important social and politicial individuals, groups, and events in Alexandrian history. The Museum is overseen by a Managing Curator and staffed by Curators and Museum Interns. The NMA utilizes in-game items like books, banners, and signs, as well as intangible information such as screenshots, images, text, and more.
