Employment Policies
In order to be employed with the Ministry of Justice, you must:

• Have at least 48 hours of active total playtime (WILL GO INTO EFFECT ON JUNE 1, 2025)
• Have and be available on Discord
• Be able to work in a team
• Have working legal knowledge
• Not be a Public Defender in Alexandria, Judicial Officer in Alexandria, or working for a private law firm in Alexandria

Ministry Offices
The Ministry of Justice is split into three offices, which carry out different tasks.

• The New Hamilton Police Department
  • Head
    • Commander (Deputy Minister 1)
  • Other Ranks
    • Superintendent
    • Inspector
    • Sergeant
    • Constable
  • Purpose
    • The New Hamilton Police Department arrests criminals, carries out court orders, enacts warrants, impounds vehicles, and preserves peace and social stability in Alexandria, as directed by the Minister of Justice.
• The Office of Litigation
  • Head
    • Solicitor General (Deputy Minister 2)
  • Other Ranks
    • Senior Crown Counsel / Senior Prosecutor
    • Crown Counsel / Prosecutor
  • Purpose
    • The Office of Litigation prosecutes felonies, defends the Kingdom in court, and provides legal advice to the Kingdom, as directed by the Minister of Justice.
• The Alexandrian Bureau of Investigation
  • Head
    • Solicitor General (Deputy Minister 2)
  • Other Ranks
    • ABI Director
    • Senior Investigator
    • Investigator
    • Detective
  • Purpose
    • The Alexandrian Bureau of Investigation investigates crimes and gathers evidence for government lawsuits, as directed by the Minister of Justice.

Office of Litigation Policies

• No employee of the Office of Litigation may begin work on a case without being appointed to the case by the Minister of Justice or Solicitor General.
• All employees must make the Solicitor General aware of Conflicts of Interests regarding potential case work within the Ministry of Justice as soon as possible.
  • Employees who hide this information and/or work on a case in which they have a Conflict of Interest will be terminated and may be prosecuted, in accordance with the law.
