INFORMATION

The Ministry of Welfare (MoW) is responsible for the well-being of the people of Alexandria, and manages the nation's educational resources, healthcare, and social services. Its main tasks include maintenance of Job Exams and Job Guides, maintenance of the StateCraft wiki, providing tours to new players, curation of the National Museum of Alexandria, and providing healthcare to the Alexandrian people. The Ministry of Welfare is the human face of the Kingdom of Alexandria, bridging the gap between the government and the people.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Employees within the MoW start out at one of the following positions:

Researcher (Application): OPEN
- Entry level University position
- Manage Job Guides and Job Exams, ensuring they're up to date and correct
- Allows for career advancement in the University

Researcher -> Dean -> Rector (Deputy Secretary)

Nurse (Application): OPEN
- Entry level Hospital position
- Assist and learn from Physicians in treatment of illnesses
- Allows for career advancement in the Hospital

Nurse -> Physician -> Hospital Manager (Deputy Secretary)

Librarian (Application): OPEN
- Entry level Library position
- Maintain the StateCraft wiki
- Allows for career advancement in the Library

Librarian -> Library Manager (Deputy Secretary)

Tour Guide (Application): OPEN
- Entry-level OSA position
- Provide tours of Alexandria to new players and help them get acclimated
- Allows for career advancement in the Office of Social Assistance

Social Worker (Application): OPEN
- Entry-level OSA position
- Provide socioeconomic support to citizens on a case-by-case basis
- Allows for career advancement in the Office of Social Assistance

Tour Guide/Social Worker -> Welfare Manager (Deputy Secretary)

Museum Intern (Application): OPEN
- Entry-level Museum position
- Help curate and maintain the National Museum of Alexandria
- Allows for career advancement in the Museum

Museum Intern -> Museum Curator -> Museum Manager (Deputy Secretary)

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

All players who apply must meet the following criteria:
- Have at least 48 hours of active total playtime; (WAIVED FOR FIRST MONTH OF STATECRAFT)
- Have, and be available on, Discord;
- Have your forums account synced to your in-game account;
- Show in your application why you are suited for the position, and;
- You must be able to work as a team with all members of the Ministry and competently work alone, if required.
