INFORMATION

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is responsible for the safety and security of the Kingdom of Alexandria and all its citizens. Its main duties include enforcement of laws through policing, defending the legal interests of the Kingdom, investigating and prosecuting serious crimes, working with the Commonwealth of Redmont to catch criminals that flee overseas (and vice versa), and protect individuals within the government. The Ministry of Justice serves the Kingdom with Strength, Integrity, Dedication, and Excellence at its core.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Employees within the MoJ start out at one of the following positions:

Constable (Application): OPEN
- Entry level police position
- Start with a two week training phase called the 'Police Academy' before being a full Constable
- Handle arrests, fines, vehicle impounds, criminal records, and other basic law enforcement duties
- Must have no criminal record within the past 30 days

Constable -> Sergeant -> Inspector -> Superintendent -> Commander (Deputy Secretary)

Crown Counsel/State Prosecutor (Application): OPEN
- Entry level legal position
- When working on civil cases, known as Crown Council; when working on a criminal case, known as Prosecutors
- Must have legal experience in Redmont or Alexandria
- Must not be working for a private law firm, serving as a Public Defender, or serving on the Courts

Crown Counsel/Prosecutor -> Senior Counsel/Prosecutor -> Solicitor General (Deputy Secretary)

Investigator (Application): CLOSED
- Investigate more serious crimes through interrogation and evidence gathering
- Work with Crown Counsel/Prosecutors to gather evidence for government court cases
- Interrogate suspects to gain information on larger criminal schemes
- Work with the Police to bust criminal organizations and illicit operations

Detective (Exam): CLOSED
- Basic in-game job to assist Police and Investigators
- Work to solve murder cases through in-game clues and evidence
- Determining who commits crimes, where they were committed, etc.
- If able to demonstrate competency, they may be promoted to Investigator without applying

Detective -> Investigator -> Senior Investigator -> ABI Director -> Solicitor General (Deputy Secretary)

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

All players who apply must meet the following criteria:
- Have at least 48 hours of active total playtime; (WILL GO INTO EFFECT ON JUNE 1, 2025)
- Have, and be available on, discord;
- Have your forums account synced to your in-game account;
- Show in your application why you are suited for the position;
- You must be able to work as a team with all members of the Ministry and competently work alone, if required;
- Have no criminal record within the past 30 days (Constable & Investigator only);
- Not currently serving in a private law firm, as a Public Defender, or on the Courts (Prosecutor & Investigator only);
